James Blue
With a storytelling career spanning many years, James has earned every major journalism honor, including three Peabody Awards, three DuPont Awards, two Overseas Press Club Awards, and 10 National News Emmy Awards. Before co-founding Storyboard Studios, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Smithsonian Channel and MTV News & Docs for Paramount Global, overseeing acclaimed, award-winning documentary programming. As a senior executive at PBS NewsHour, he spearheaded the development of groundbreaking series, including Beyond The Canvas, That Moment When, Let Me Explain, and Tell Me More with Kelly Corrigan.
Throughout his career, James has reported from some of the most pivotal events of our time, including the Waco siege, the Oklahoma City bombing, the O.J. Simpson trial, 9/11, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. A member of the Writers Guild of America East (WGAE) and the Television Academy, he continues to shape impactful storytelling with a legacy of excellence in journalism and documentary production.
Bronwyn Berry
An award-winning documentary producer and director, Bronwyn Berry has had the unique experience of creating films and television shows on both sides of the Atlantic with credits ranging from character-driven, follow docu-series to rock docs and archival biographies. Her documentaries include Breakdown in Maine, After the Bite, Love, Gilda, and Heart & Soul. Her international showrunner credits include the docu-series Durban Beach Rescue and Sesame Street South Africa. She is a member of the Producers’ Guild (PGA), the Writers Guild of America East (WGAE), and the Television Academy.
